CR Founding Director

On August 13, 2025, we lost our Founding Director, leading supporter, and dear friend of CR. Despite being a non-smoker, Fr. was diagnosed with lung cancer 2.5 years ago. He used all the tools provided by medical science to battle his cancer - chemo, radiation, surgery, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy but unfortunately there was no cure.

Those of us who knew him, will miss is ready smile, his calm demeanor, his steadfast dedication to the marginalized, and his loyal and ever-present support of CR. For the past 16 years, Fr. worked both on the front lines and behind the scenes to ensure its success.

We believe that the best way for us to honor Fr. Felix’s memory is to continue the work we started together 16 years ago - providing quality educational opportunities for children in the marginalized communities of Tamil Nadu: the Dalits, the gypsies, the poor, and the disabled.
